How to create multilingual content - translation
Aside from the new Language Management feature, now Standard Pro and Enterprise customers can export content, translate it in another application, and then import translated content.
This new workflow will make it easier to write and manage translations. You can export and import the translation files as CSV or Excel files. In those files, your content editors can edit the HTML source and any tokens you’re using. Then you can import the translation file back.
1. Click on Translation
Select "Translation" from the Topic Revisions Tab within the Portal (Topics > Topic > Revisions Tab)
2. Export the translation file
You can select to export either CSV or XLSX format of the file.
3. Add translations to the exported file
You can now edit the file using your own supported application. Please do not modify the topic in the meantime to avoid conflicts during import. Please note that order of languages is important.
4. Import the translation file back
Once done, you will see the translation via the Authoring tool or Live from your site when it is published.
